The block
9 1/2" finished (10" with seam allowances). 1 patches. Make 15.
Cutting chart
Cut strips across the width of fabric, then subcut. All measurements include 1/4" seam allowances.

Cut 4 strips 10" x WOF.
- Subcut 15 10" squares
Border5/8 yd
Cut 5 strips 3" x WOF; join them end to end, then cut the four borders to length.
Binding1/2 yd
Cut 5 strips 2 1/2" x WOF; join them on the diagonal and press in half lengthwise.
Backing, binding, batting
Backing
1 3/4 yd of 42" fabric: 1 panels 60 1/2" long, seamed lengthwise, for a 41.5" x 60.5" back (4" extra on every side for the longarm or your frame). Or 1 3/4 yd of 108" wide backing, no seams.
Binding
5 strips 2 1/2" x WOF, joined on the diagonal and folded in half: 172" around the quilt plus 12" for the corners and the join.
Batting
A piece at least 41.5" x 60.5".
